ASSEMBLY BY CLASS X-C

On 27th April 2026, Class 10C presented their assembly titled, "Mental Wellness: From Struggle to Strength", highlighting the importance of mental wellness in our daily lives, especially the lives of students like us.

The manner of presentation was unconventional, and rightly so, for a topic involving such complex human emotions can hardly be dealt with using methods that don't do it justice. By enacting a day in Springdales, complete with a lunch break, the class aimed to show how the right response to those plagued by worry or anxiety lies not in ignoring or dismissing the said persons, but in attempting to understand them, and most importantly, being there for them.

Our snippets included scenes of students worried about their results, contemplating the actual gravity of the words 'mental health'. The choir, seamlessly entwined within the narrative, soulfully rendered 'Sunshine', calling attention to what problems truly feel like to those facing them. The scenes continued, spanning themes like the absence of natural resources and the importance of physical health for maintaining mental health, interspersed with heart-touching, self-composed poetry. Real issues, like students hesitating to participate in the games period, were brought to the forefront.

News from around the world, the nation, and even the school was articulated clearly and effectively by the students, followed by an interactive quiz. The highly appreciated quiz session managed to keep the audience on their toes with well-selected and relevant questions.

To conclude and summarize, an inspiring thought was provided as a takeaway for our audience. Lastly, as a surprise, a vibrant, energetic dance was presented to the song 'KOL DE PAR', symbolizing how important it is to break free of the 'chains' binding us and ascend to the sky with wings open wide, to truly achieve the peace of mind that comes with ideal mental health.

The addresses given by our respected Principal, the Social Science HOD, and our class teacher proved to be inspiring as well as useful. Class 10C's assembly was an effort of teamwork, creativity, and presentation, true; but more importantly, it was the issue it dealt with that turned it into something viewers could relate to and take away from.
