Archbishop Angelo Fernandes Memorial Interschool Football Championship 2025

We are thrilled to share that the football team of Springdales School, Pusa Road has triumphed as the champions of the prestigious Archbishop Angelo Fernandes Memorial Interschool Football Championship 2025–26, hosted by St. Michael’s School, New Delhi. The team’s journey to victory was marked by unwavering determination, strategic brilliance, and exceptional teamwork. In the quarterfinals, Springdales outplayed St. Columbus with commanding possession and sharp offensive play. The semifinal against St. Xavier’s tested their endurance, but disciplined tactics and late-game resilience sealed the win. In a thrilling final showdown against the host school, St. Michael’s, Springdales showcased composed defending and netted the decisive goal to lift the championship trophy. Intra-School Cricket Match

The grounds of Springdales School buzzed with excitement during a spirited cricket match between Team A and Team B on 4th October, 2025. In front of an enthusiastic audience of teachers and students, Team A, led by Gurmohit Singh, batted first and set a competitive target. However, Team B, under the sharp captaincy of Ayush Mishra, mounted a disciplined chase, securing victory through exceptional teamwork. While Team B celebrated their win, the mutual respect between the two teams truly captured the spirit of the game.

This event was more than just a display of athletic skill; it was a reflection of the core values of the Viksit Bharat programme. The match highlighted how unity, resilience, and fair play—the very principles essential for India's journey to becoming a developed nation by 2047—are cultivated on the sports field. Inter-House Basketball Tournament, 2025

Springdales School, Pusa Road, successfully hosted an Inter-House Basketball Tournament for classes 6th to 8th from September 23rd to 26th, 2025. Held under the CBSE's Viksit Bharat Program, the event aimed to instill values of sportsmanship and teamwork. After several competitive matches among eight houses, Endeavour House emerged as the champion, defeating Equality House 12–8 in the final. Freedom House secured third place by overcoming Unity House with a score of 11–8. The tournament was a vibrant showcase of student talent and fair play, reflecting the program's goal of nurturing resilient and unified youth for a developed India. YOGA PULSE, 2025

On May 1st, 2025, Bal Bharti School, Gangaram hosted an invigorating yoga competition that saw enthusiastic participation from multiple schools. Springdales School proudly joined the event, where our students exhibited exceptional discipline and skill through a series of graceful yoga postures and sequences. Their performance reflected impressive balance, flexibility, and teamwork, earning praise from both the judges and the audience.

We are delighted to announce that our talented students - Avika Tripathi (8A), Mishika Soin (8A), Dwij Diwaan (8A), and Rishaan Rahi (8D) - secured the 3rd position in the competition. The Shri I.P. Kapoor Memorial Football Tournament

The Shri I.P. Kapoor Memorial Football Tournament is an annual inter-unit football event hosted by Springdales School, Pusa Road, New Delhi. It honors the dedicated service of Shri I.P. Kapoor, who served the school as a physical education teacher for 35 years. The tournament aims to foster team spirit and sportsmanship among students.

The 13th edition of the tournament was held on April 17, 2025, with teams from Springdales, Pusa Road, and Springdales, Dhaula Kuan competing in a spirited match. The event began with floral tributes to Shri I.P. Kapoor, offered by the revered Principal, Dr. Mala Gupta, his family, and members of the managing board. In her address, Dr. Gupta encouraged the players to uphold the values of fair play and competitive spirit.

Springdales, Pusa Road secured a resounding 4-0 victory. Vihaan Sachdeva was declared Best Player of the Match, and the winning team was awarded medals along with the prestigious Shri I.P. Kapoor Memorial Running Trophy. For event gallery Click here
