Springdales School, Pusa Road held their Annual Athletic Meet on 17th February 2023. Students from Class VI-XII participated in various athletic events and drill displays. The meet was declared open by the chief guest Mr. Bhanu Sachdeva, Arjuna Awardee- Swimming.
The Principal, Dr. Mala Gupta along with the chief guest witnessed the march past from the saluting base. The squads comprising of National and State Players, school prefects and the eight houses were led by their captains. The synchronized display of drills using dazzling hooplas, umbrellas and colourful drapes left the audiences spell bound. The programme culminated in a finale where the students stood in unison upholding the spirit of sportsmanship.
Col. Kulmeet Singh Kataria, Lt. Col Nagender Sharma and Lt. Col Bibek Chakroburty judged the marching squads.
The chief guest, Mr. Bhanu Sachdeva, spoke of the importance of sports personal fitness through games and athletics. Sharing his own experiences with the students he motivated the budding sports enthusiasts. Top athletes were honored with awards and the house trophy was won by Unity House. The Divakar Sinha rolling trophy for the outstanding athlete of the year instituted by Dr. Swati Pal, Principal of Janki Devi College and Mr. Uttam Kumar Sinha in the memory of their son, an old student of the school was awarded to Niroy Chadha of std XI.

The citation ceremony at Springdales School, Pusa Road was held on the 10th February 2023. The solemn event is organised every year to bid adieu to the outgoing batch of standard XII and wish them luck for their future endeavours.
In her address to the students and parents, Principal, Dr. Mala Gupta, expressed her firm belief in the preparedness of the outgoing batch to face challenges with conviction and confidence emerging stronger from the experiences of the pandemic.
As a learning for the outgoing batch she emphasised on the importance of elevating our thoughts above extreme self-indulgence, shifting them towards the wellbeing of all and aligning ourselves to the positive energies of the universe that does not favour the greedy and the dishonest but the truthful, the magnanimous and the virtuous.
The chief guest for the occasion, Dr. Himanshu Gupta, IAS and Director (Education), Directorate of Education emphasised on the important virtues of life such as humanity and hard work. He urged the students to utilise the power of education to change the future of the country. He also spoke about the importance of innovative and constructive thought in empowering youth as the harbingers of change for a better tomorrow.
The students and their parents from the outgoing batch talked about the association they had with their alma mater and shared their cherished memories.

Springdales School bid adieu to the outgoing batch of 2022-23 amidst gala festive celebrations with peppy and uplifting songs-dances by std XI at the evening farewell on 6th Feb 2023. Springdales School, Pusa Road hosted the 46th Y. Kumar Memorial Assembly for Peace and International Understanding on 9th February 2023. It was a culmination of a series of events that took place during a week consisting of Essay writing, Quiz competition, Painting competition, Group discussion and Interview. Over 30 students from 10 leading schools across the NCR and Delhi participated in the event. The Principal, Dr. Mala Gupta, gave the welcome address paying tribute to the founder manager of the school Shri Yudister Kumar and Chairperson Dr Rajni Kumar. She expressed her firm belief in the power and vitality of the youth in creating a more humane and inter-connected world.
Dr. Kiran Datar, Former Principal Miranda House and Dean of Colleges, University of Delhi, retired as officiating Vice Chancellor- Delhi University, delivered the Y. Kumar Memorial Lecture on ‘Imagining a world without prejudice and bigotry’. She reminisced about her long association with Late Dr Rajni Kumar, Chairperson of the Springdales Education society and her visionary outlook towards the establishment of the institution. She made an appeal to the young students to overcome the world issues by introspecting about bigotry and prejudices and moving towards inclusion and acceptance of diversity. To mark the occasion, the school choir presented mesmerizing musical renditions- Imagine by John Lennon and Con el Vito Italian folk song followed by a dance presentation by senior students called 'Let us Invoke'.
Dr Jyoti Bose, Director Springdales Schools greeted the gathering and spoke of the magnanimous vision of the pioneers Shri Yudhistir Kumar and Dr Rajni Kumar in taking the institution pinnacles of success. The lecture was also attended by Dr. A Shankara Reddy, Chairman Springdales Dhaula Kuan, Prof Chandrachur, member managing board and a gathering of parents, teachers and students. सोमवार, 30 जनवरी, 2023 को स्प्रिंगडेल्स स्कूल पूसा रोड में, गांधीजी की 75 वीं पुण्यतिथि के अवसर पर पीस सदन द्वारा अंतर्सदनीय सामूहिक कविता पाठ प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया।
“मोहन से महात्मा तक” विषय के अंतर्गत 8 सदनों के लगभग 280 विद्यार्थियों ने भाग लिया। सभी कविताएं गांधीजी के आदर्शों- सत्य, अहिंसा, मानवता, परोपकार, आदि जैसे नैतिक मूल्य पर आधारित थी। कार्यक्रम के आरंभ में श्रीमती नेहा सिंह के विद्यार्थियों ने गांधी जी के भजनों से प्रेरित एक स्वरांजलि प्रस्तुत की । अतिथियों ने दीप प्रज्वलित कर गांधी जी को श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए कार्यक्रम की शुरुआत की। निर्णायक गण के रूप में हमारे बीच श्रीमती स्वर्णलता साह ( सहायक प्रोफेसर, मीरांडा हाउस), डॉ वंदना ग्रोवर डावर, ( संपादक, लोकसभा) तथा श्री रणविजय राव ( संपादक, लोकसभा) उपस्थित थे। कक्षा छठी सातवीं और आठवीं के विद्यार्थी दर्शकों के रूप में उपस्थित थे। सभी सदनों ने अपनी मनमोहक प्रस्तुति द्वारा दर्शकों का मन मोह लिया। कार्यक्रम के अंत में जसनेह कौर( कक्षा आठवीं) ने अपनी स्वरचित कविता सुनाई तथा श्रीमई और ख्याति ( कक्षा सातवीं ) ने देश भक्ति गीत से समा बांध दिया। श्री रणविजय राव ने अपनी कविता द्वारा विद्यार्थियों का मार्गदर्शन किया। प्रधानाचार्या डॉ. माला गुप्ता ने अपने प्रेरक शब्दों द्वारा प्रतिभागियों की हौंसला बढ़ाया। कार्यक्रम का समापन राष्ट्रीय गान से किया गया तथा विजेताओं के नाम घोषित किए गए।

दूसरा स्थान पर एंडेवर सदन तथा
तीसरा स्थान पर फॉरवर्ड सदन को प्राप्त हुआ।
कार्यक्रम की तैयारी का कार्यभार मिडिल स्कूल के हिंदी अध्यापिकाओं श्रीमती श्वेता राजपाल श्रीमती अभिलाषा गोस्वामी और श्रीमती सीमा गल्यान के अतिरिक्त सीनियर स्कूल की हिंदी अध्यापिका श्रीमती मोना डबराल तथा श्रीमती मोनिका भारद्वाज पर था।
