Leadership and Training

Distributive leadership exists across the school at multiple levels. At the level of teachers, there is deep engagement with teacher training within and outside the school. They are empowered to lead programs and initiatives as peer mentors and leaders at regional, national and international levels.

Students are trained in leadership through collaborative projects. Leadership thinking happens through social and environmental interaction. The opportunity to display their leadership skills through responsibilities assumed as class monitors, junior school prefects, volunteers, council members, school prefects and house captions.

At the core of leadership is the Principal who continuously, endeavors to create policy through efforts and involvement of teachers conducting teacher training programs by training master trainers and peer educators. Training manuals have been created by the principal for governmemnt organisations i.e Central Board of Secondary Education, State Council of Educational Research and Training, National Council of Educational Research And Training , British Council, etc. The materials created by the principal are Values Education Kits, Comprehensive Training Manuals and Compact Disks for the new reforms in education.

Physical Education Cards, a Manual on Peace Education, Text Books on Media Studies, Social Science and descriptors for school based assessment. This material has been created with the support of Government and private school leaders and School heads. The Teacher Resource Center is the hub of Teacher Training within school, nationally and internationally. A variety of teaching materials and text produced in the centre has been implemented in thousands of schools accross the country.
