Republic Day: हमारा संविधान, हमारी पहचान

On January 24, 2025, Springdales School, Pusa Road proudly commemorated the 76th Republic Day of India with immense enthusiasm and reverence. The program, aptly titled "हमारा संविधान, हमारी पहचान," beautifully reflected our nation’s diverse heritage and democratic ideals. The celebration highlighted the significance of the Indian Constitution and its foundational values—liberty, equality, fraternity, unity, justice, and freedom. The event was graced by the Hon’ble Chief Guest, Sh. Vinit Kumar, a dedicated officer of the Union Territory cadre, currently serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Police for Provisioning and Logistics, and the Guest of Honour, Miss Pooja Kaushal, an accomplished professional associated with the CBI Court, Delhi High Court, and the Supreme Court of India. Both were welcomed with heartfelt appreciation.

The festivities began with a stirring choir performance, resonating with patriotic fervor and evoking a deep sense of pride among the audience. Following the choir, a captivating presentation titled "हमारा संविधान, हमारी पहचान" was staged by 194 talented middle school students. The performance focused on the core values embedded in the Indian Constitution and the Preamble, illustrating how these ideals guide our lives. The pivotal role of the Constitution in shaping modern India was depicted through vivid presentations that highlighted the significance of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.

A highlight of the program was the grand tableau, which showcased the rich cultural diversity of India’s states. Each tableau, carefully designed and presented by the students, offered a glimpse into the unique traditions, art, and customs of various regions. This was complemented by a graceful and energetic dance performance, infused with nationalistic fervor. The dancers captured the spirit of unity in diversity, symbolizing India’s collective strength.

Vinit Kumar, addressed the gathering and emphasized the importance of every citizen understanding and upholding the values outlined in the Constitution, as they are essential to building a just and equitable society.
